I'm a big fan of computing history; but even more so a fan of the history of counterculture. This section is a mixture of both, especially where they overlap.
Certainly, it doesn't hold a candle to the incredible work of Jason Scott and Textfiles.com, but then, it's not meant to. In the age of wikipedia, the need for individual fan pages to locate information about things off the beaten path is almost unnecessary now; these are all more personal accounts on the significance of these events and individuals.
